Bless The Job Creators

Calling spirits from the Vasty Deep…

Is it true? Can people really be pigeon-holed into either-or ideological fantasies?

Have you stopped beating your wife? Answer yes or no. W…wait a minute!

Pigeon-hole A: The Rich, a.k.a., people who have a lot more money than you, should “pay their fair share.”

Pigeon-hole B: The Rich, a.k.a., the Job Creators, should be unchained so they can provide us with jobs.

What do those two beliefs have in common? Ding ding, we have a winner! Yes, both political parties seem to embrace the notion that The Rich are farm animals to be slaughtered or milked, your choice. It’s tough to defend The Rich from either ideological attack without being labelled A or B.

  1. Craig Cavanaugh says:

Maybe instead of focusing on “job creation” (government has never “created” a single job) they should work on reversing job DESTRUCTION. As in quit regulating jobs to death. Government “creates” nothing. They merely control the environment in which things can, or can NOT, be created.

BTW, I do not consider 99.99% of government “jobs” to be jobs at all. They don’t produce anything but red tape. They are consumers. Parasites…

    • Hi Craig,

Yeah, isn’t it funny when a political ad comes on with the announcer’s voice drooling something about how “creating jobs” is what their man is all about? Ha ha!

99.99%? Quit holding back. 100% of all gubment employees reduce our enjoyment of this planet. If a service is needed or wanted, it’s not necessary to have it forced on us at gunpoint.
