Identifying Common Sense Measures

“The president directed the Attorney General to form working groups with key stakeholders to identify common sense measures that would improve American safety and security while fully respecting Second Amendment rights,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said on Thursday.

Let’s see, the only common sense measure I can think of to improve safety and respect the Second Amendment would be to completely eliminate all gun laws. N’est-ce pas ainsi? After all, aren’t 300 million Americans the “keyest” stakeholders of all?

      Hi Art,

You’re correct in your observation. Places that have news stories that begin “Warring factions in (yer country), today …

Battle Rifles are heavy cumbersome things. I don’t particularly relish the thought of carrying one for every run to the Piggly Wiggly.

        Hi Art,

That’s what slings are for. Makes it easier to stop in for beer and cigs. :-)
